Flower Patch Gardening

To improve the visual identity of a small gardening business based in Pembrokeshire, I was tasked with updating the existing company logo. The client wanted to retain the key elements, colour palette and composition of the original logo whilst refining details and improving its scalability to be applied as a graphic on a company vehicle. The result reflects higher professional quality across the official website, social media, and merchandising to foster trust with potential customers.

BEFORE AND AFTER

Original Logo

  • Dark colours that don't match website

  • Thin outline around company name that isn't visible on a smaller scale

  • Unusual design elements, such as random spots, that disrupt the harmony of the composition

  • Wobbly lines for text and inconsistent use of font

  • Blurry lines in leaves of plants

New Logo

  • Brighter colours consistent with website

  • More visible outline around company name

  • Better composition with mirrored design elements, removing unnecessary details

  • Clean, official font that still evokes the style of the original design

  • More variation in design of each flower to reflect nature

  • 'Gardening' made more prominent as the most important word for customers to see, establishing the services of the business clearly
